Definitely Vampire Academy. I've read the first 6 books of House of Night and I have to say that the books' pacing and Zoey's "boyfriend problems" annoy me to no end - and, she's whiny. Rose is definitely a better heroine.

New follower here from the hop. I just started reading Vampire Academy (I've read all but the latest House of Night) and I have to say I'm enjoying VA more.
